looked and felt
like perfectly white
doll sized breasts
without nipples

when I peel
hard boiled eggs
they resemble
battered, cratered
asteroids, tumbling
off the counter 

to the floor
where perhaps
what resembles
a crippled moon
of Neptune lies
it's core exposed
